Why do I need a videographer at my wedding?

Just like photographs, having a Videographer allows you to relive the day for years to come.  Only this time, you get to see Uncle Dave’s amazing dance moves in action! We loved looking back at our wedding video seeing things we missed throughout the day.

What types of venue’s do you shoot?

Whatever Venue suits you, works for us! We have done baseball diamonds to butterfly gardens and love filming in all types of scenery.

Can I book a consultation with you?

Of course!  We would love to meet up with you to get to know you and to go over your wedding day details in person.  We understand that coordinating a wedding takes a lot of time so if you would prefer communicating through through email, that is fine as well!

Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve my wedding day?
We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to save your date.

How far should we book in advance?
Booking as soon as possible gives you the best chance of having your day available.  Please note that we are currently only taking deposits for 2019/2020 Weddings.    We also take last minute bookings if the date is available.

Do you shoot outside of Vancouver, BC and is there a travel fee?
Yes, we love to travel! We do not charge a travel fee for weddings within 200km of Vancouver.  For destinations further than 200km and Weddings that require taking BC Ferry, please inquire for a quote.

What music gets used for my edit(s)?

You get to choose 3-4 songs of your choice for the 9-12min Highlight Reel or you can let us choose some of our favourites that we think might suit your wedding’s style.  We have a license through Soundstripe that allows us to edit to music that can be played with no copyright infringement.  We will edit using these songs unless otherwise stated in the contract.  If you choose to have your own music choices, please note that you may have copyright issues if you are trying to share your video though Facebook or Youtube.

The 1-2 minute "social media" edit will be a copyright free instrumental so you are able to share it on you social media platforms without infringement issues.

How many people will be present to cover my wedding?

Our standard package comes with 1 videographer and 1 assistant.   You may add an additional Videographer to allow for more coverage of your day.

Why would I need a Second Videographer?

Having a second Videographer is a great opportunity to capture more moments from your big day.  It is ideal for capturing both parties getting ready for the day as well as having someone to stay behind to film the cocktail hour as the other videographer goes with the wedding party for photos.  It is a great option to choose for weddings with a higher guest count.

What do you typically cover on a wedding day?
We will shoot from you getting ready until the dance floor is in full swing and everything in between.  Each day is unique and we follow you throughout your day to capture all you have planned.  If you have any specific shots in mind such as a "first look" before the ceremony, please let us know, we love to hear your ideas!

How many hours do you typically work on a wedding day?
A typical wedding day for us is roughly 10 hours of coverage.  Prior to the coverage of the parties getting ready, we will be taking establishment shots of the venue and the surrounding area.   We offer up to 12 hours of coverage.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept E-Transfer, Cash or a Bank Draft.

Do you offer drone footage?

Yes! When possible, we like to add drone footage into our footage to capture the feel of your venue and day.  Please note that depending on locations and venues, there may be restrictions on no fly zones which may limit our possibility for usage.  We follow the Canadian Aviation Regulations which can be found at https://www.tc.gc.ca/en/services/aviation/drone-safety/flying-drone-safely-legally.html.

When will I receive my videos?

After filming a 8-12hr day, we tend to have a lot of footage to work through!  Please allow up to 8 weeks for us to finish your video.  The final product will be sent via mail to the address filled out on your contract.   We like to send you your 1-3min social media edit within 2 weeks via email as a teaser as we know it is hard to wait for the final product!

If you have any further questions or would like to see if your date is available, please feel free to send us an email!
